<p>In April 2009, I participated in my first solo race on board the Pogo 2 No. 504 &#8220;ManuPoki&#8221;, which I had acquired a 25% stake three weeks earlier. Sailing alond is a very&#8230; &#8230;lonely activity. To me, one of the major drawbacks of this exciting is that it is difficult to share, while for me part of the pleasure of being at sea comes from sharing that pleasure with others. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>As many of you were probably aware, I just crossed the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterraneean Sea, from the French West Caribeean (Pointe-a-Pitre, Guadeloupe) to Marseille, France. For those of you who missed it, you can find our blog of this incredible cruise on <a href="http://www.e-samson.info">this page</a>. The boat on which we spent more than a month is <a href="http://tchudapopka.free.fr">Tchuda Popka 2, the Pogo 40 of Gwenc&#8217;hlan Catherine</a>. Gwen and her finished 10th in the Class 40 in the 2006 Route du Rhum. Many thanks Gwen for this wonderful opportunity !</p>
